There’s something so special to me about these small moments before you walk down the aisle. And I will admit, you can always find a handful of getting ready shots in my favorites from my wedding galleries. So let’s talk about it! Here are a few reasons why I adore them so much…
It Completes the Story
Capturing the time before your ceremony — while you do your hair, get your makeup done, put on your final jewelry pieces, or tie your shoes — completes the whole story. Although the ceremony is the main event, your day isn’t just about that or the reception, and your gallery should reflect that.

From the first glimpse of your completed makeup to that final look in the mirror, the getting ready moments are filled with raw emotion, love, and support from your closest friends and family. And those intimate, heartfelt moments become some of the most special moments of the entire wedding day.
